Mike Khatib
Mike is an Senior Associate and joined Vermeulens in 2017. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics at the University of Texas at Arlington. With over 16 years of industry experience, Mike enjoys working on projects that emphasize sustainable design practices. His approach consists of monitoring various economic variables within the construction market to ensure viable strategic implementation of agile practices for each project. Mike has been involved on a variety of the firm’s projects, ranging from higher education, healthcare, science+technology, cultural arts, and other industries. He is passionate about establishing and maintaining collaborative relationships, by delivering his clients' adequate data to assist them in leading the project at hand.
Mike is also a Senior Project Manager and Lead A&S Estimator.
Outside of work, Mike is inspired daily by his wife and being a father of three girls. He also enjoys coaching basketball or rooting for his girls on the soccer field. He is an avid fan of the Dallas Mavericks and enjoys spending time on the golf course with his friends.
