Emily is an Estimator and joined Vermeulens in 2022. With a Bachelor of Interior Design from Toronto Metropolitan University, she joins us from the banking sector where she has over 17 years of team management, technology, and corporate security experience.  Emily is excited about a career change to bring her back to her design passion. 

As an Interiors Estimator, Emily delivers detailed section take-offs in OST and provides technical support with GFA’s and program digiting, and utility comparables to price various documents. She works closely with the Interiors team and coordinates with all estimating staff on each project.

A hobby artist from childhood, Emily loves acrylic painting, poetry, creative writing, and all kinds of different arts and crafts that she can experiment with.  She is a keen photographer, a lover of arts and flowers, computer games, Lego, swimming, yoga, and traveling on adventures with her friends.
